Cheap San Diego Fun
Hi everyone!
If you live near San Diego, you're in for a real treat...."Fleet Week"
begins this week with all kinds of cool, patriotic and FREE activities for you and your family. Get details at www.fleetweek-sandiego.org
Another great bargain in San Diego that is coming up is FREE admission to the world famous San Diego zoo! All children 11 years old and younger are admitted FREE during the entire month of October from 9-4:00! Even better, in honor of their "Founder's Day", EVERYONE gets in free on October 3rd!
Next weekend is also the Cabrillo National Monument festival. They say it is the most often visited monument in the US, which I find hard to believe, but hey, it gives them an excuse to throw a FREE festival! Check out www.nps.gov/cabr
Now for some thrifty tips EVERYONE can enjoy....

Our family has pretty much tried every kind of health plan there is out there, trying to save a few bucks. Knowing how to chart those seas can be very difficult because the system is constantly changing. It’s been a frustration for listeners, but now Georgetown University has put together a printable online guide for you to navigate the health insurance industry.
It’s called healthinsuranceinfo.net, and it has a state-by-state guide. The guide answers questions including what your rights are when switching from one company to another, when you start an individual plan and what is covered under you plan. Check it out!
Thankfully, hurricane Rita didn't cause the terrible damage officials were bracing for. That's great news for gas prices. According to experets, we'll still be over $2 but should stay under $3 through to the end of the year.
Have a wonderful day!
